"I am lying on the grass, watching helicopter seeds drift through the air. I find one with three “wings” and spin it, observing and analysing its shape. This small moment of curiosity became the starting point for the side table Frjö. Frjö is designed for flat-packing and easy assembly. The base consists of three bent aluminium parts that slot into one another, forming a cone-shaped cavity. A matching cone fitted into this cavity draws the ash tabletop, attached from underneath, down onto the base. The result is a light and sculptural piece of furniture that is easy to produce ."
